One Heart

One Heart, Jesus
One Voice.
One Word, Jesus Your Promise, Oh I hang on to every Word

One Heart, Jesus
One moment.
One breath, Jesus
One arm stretched out, ohhh you make it true.

One Heart, Jesus
One steadfast Love.
One Completed, Jesus
Because of Your way, Loyal and Relentless.
Ohhh ooh we are and forever we’ll be
One Heart.

One Heart restored True
One Heart forever, in the presence of You.

She’s Mine

Shame called my name. And it seem to know me well. Shame whispered “come closer” and drew me into its own hell.

Shame spoke and I shook because it was so fearfully loud, every breathe from me it took. Shame held my hand and comforted my doubts. Keep your head down and no one will see, shame said to me. Keep your heart covered, here let me help you build this wall, smothered. Shame took me into darkness and hid my face so well. Shame had me and before I knew it it had become my own hell.

Until on one moment  I heard something different. Footsteps coming toward me. As they drew closer, I felt shame started to flee. And the closer they got the more Light grew around me. Something leaned down and lifted me up. Arms around me holding me tight. Something within me knew I didn’t have to fight. As I leaned in, a heart beat I heard. One with mine, resounding beats together, One heart, whole. There is something familiar about this, I know. As he placed me on the solid ground, He dusted me off, and helped me stand tall. He lifted my head up to His eyes and kissed my cheek so sweet, and then I knew. Right Here in this place is where my whole life longed. After all, I was standing before the One where my heart belonged.

Here in His Presence, my shame disappeared. Light shining within every ounce of my being. His very Spirit like living water flowing. His breathe like the wind on my skin…

Here in His presence, my very worth appeared. It was deeper than my name He called this time, as He shouted “She’s Mine”
