the Rock higher

My heart has been so something today. I don’t even know that I’ve had the words for it all day.

But, We had family pictures scheduled for this afternoon. One of those hard beautiful moments that all of heaven just carries us thought.

Tiffany Musgrove Casey did an amazing job and we can’t wait to see them. A God send, she is. I love How God just works in the details and connects people.
Little did she know she will forever be my saving grace in the form of a photographer.
She did Breanna’s birthday pictures last year and captured some pretty awesome family shots too. She is amazing inside and out.

I was praying all day today and tonight, after slowing down for a minute, I found myself quoting this scripture over and over..

Lord when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Over and over.

Before I even realized what I was saying.

Ok Lord. I hear you.

So…. I go look up the words.

Overwhelmed.
Lead me.
The rock higher than I.

What does this really mean?

Let me share.

Overwhelmed simply means weighed down and burried underneath.

And to be led to a rock higher than I. Simply means to surrender to being picked up and place on solid ground high above what’s causing the heavy and The buried.

And I went and read the scripture.

In this high place He not only picks us up and places us up
out of our heavy and buried, He don’t leave us there alone.

He wraps us up in this High place and protects us and guards us. This beautiful cozy Love blanket. Safe. Sound. Provided for.

Under His Wings 🪽 (a little hug from heaven today in His word from my angel to) in His wrap around presence!
Deeply Loved. Divinely protected!

I love every version of this but wanted to share the passion.

“O God, hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry. For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered. Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wraparound presence! Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow, hiding my life in you forever. Pause in his presence”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Let me live from here Lord!
Let me live from here.
In your splendor- in your shadow.
Hiding my life in you. This.
This is everything.
There is no better place to be but in His wrap around presence. Loved. Safe. Whole.

What are you calling out to to lead you today?

What are you surrendering to to hid yourself in today?

If it’s anything other than God, oh friend. I pray with my whole heart that you let that go and call to
Him. The One that can pick you up, love you and shelter you and protect you and provide for you.

You are so deeply Loved.
And you are so divinely protected.

Believe it.
Trust it.
And live from Him.
