Today as I was leaving camp. The sun caught my attention past the trees so my heart was drawn to it. As I rounded the corner and witnessed this, my heart over flowed and my eyes burst with tears.
The kids were with friends and not waiting on me to get home so I took 10 minutes and watched it set.
I smiled through the tears as I watched a sweet older couple take selfies with this pure view of open heaven in the back ground.
Ahh they were seeing every bit of what my heart was feeling.
The joy of growing old together and slowing down to enjoy these moments that matter.
I loved hearing them giggle and awe and make comments as the sky changed colors as the sun slowly went down.
I was breathing in every moment.
Little did they know I was enjoying this moment with my handsome husband on the other side.
My heart beating out of my chest as I breathed in every breathtaking moment.
And just as the sun was going down, a sweet heart formed in a little cloud above it. I heart handed it to heaven 🫶 and whispered “I love you too baby.”
And then I closed my eyes and embraced him in my heart as I turned to Jesus and simply whispered “thank you.” Again.
Hear lately it’s been about the only words I can manage to utter as my heart rest in His loving arms. And a simple I love you.
I can’t even explain the gratitude in my heart for everything my Jesus has carried us through. Even now, in all the evens….
He’s so good.
He’s so faithful.
He’s so loving.
He’s so graceful.
He’s so gentle.
He’s so tender.
All the while.
