desire

Desire. a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

A word that’s been on my lips in prayer daily.

Months ago, I use to pray that my desires would be Gods desires.

Today.

As I read this I hear Him say He simply wants to be my only desire.

It all flows hand in hand but starts with God.
Period.
I want Him to be my only desire.

When HE is your desire, everything shifts.

He desires for us to be Holy and Righteous, loving and kind, whole and healed.. He desires so much for us if we would just go read His Word, we would be blown away by His desires for us.

We can desire anything and everything… of this world or not.

But when we simply desire Him…. He brings forth His own desires within us.
Everything changes.

Seek 1st… God.
Everything else flows from that.

Desire. a strong feeling of wanting God or wishing for God to happen.

It changes the whole meaning as we know it.

Where is your desires?

Place those in His hands, in His trust to do with them what He wants.
In other words, place your heart in His hands and let Him have His way. He knows what He’s doing. And embrace Him in return.
Simply Chose Him.
Let Him be what your heart desires.
He will not let you down.
He will Love you like no other.
He will be what fulfills every desire of your beating heart, if you will let Him.

”Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most.“
