”The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!“
John 1:29 NLT
Was seeking tonight. Just had an empty struggling place and as I opened the Bible app, this is today’s verse.
I sit there and read it 10 times.
John knew.
From experience.
From heart.
From his very creation.
From his life.
From his identity.
John knew.
“Look. Here comes, He who takes away the sin of the world.”
All I could do was stop and thank Him for what He’s took from me.
He took my sin.
He took my pain.
He took my lust.
He took my shame.
He took my hopeleness.
He took my seeking.
He took my emptiness.
He took my struggle.
He. Took. My. Sin.
My heart just smiled.
Look! Here comes the one who takes away the sin of the world.
You know how you look at someone as they walk into the room and your atmosphere just changed and you just light up. Even your eyes just glow because their heart touches yours and it’s reciprocated and yours touches theirs?
If you don’t know that moment, oh I I pray it for you with Jesus.
For you to meet His eyes.
His heart.
For you to be able to say.
Look! Here comes the One that took it all from me and gave me pure Life.
A life that lacked Him is now a life that is whole because of Him.
He took it all.
And He gave me Him.
I am His. And He is mine.
Meeting Jesus, letting Him take your sins and letting Him be the one that replaces it all. Changes your life.
You don’t look the same.
You don’t act the same.
Because you are not the same.
He meets you right where you are and He shows you a love like no other. And then, you get to decide where you and Him go from there.
Has He taking anything from you?
Have you let Him?
He wants you to.
He wants to be the one that saves you, redeems you, and rebuilds you whole.
Only Jesus.
Look! Here comes the Lamb of God, the One who takes the sin of the world. 💜
You are so strong and such an inspiration to so many! Prayers for comfort for you and your family! ❤️🙏❤️
