Trying to figure out what to paint next…

Been trying to do some “touch ups” around the house and today, tho my mind and heart was consumed with thoughts feelings and emotions….
I was also consumed with His perfect peace, joy, grace, mercy, and Love.
Do you know the definition of consuming isn’t all that bad….
Just depends on what you’re consuming….

Chose this day whom you will serve….
Our thoughts can get the best of us.
Our broken hearts can keep us down.
Our lazy can convince us we are just to tired and tired is what’s expected of me so just let’s be…
No. We got to chose otherwise.
I chose to get up and be productive with what was consuming me and I brought the Lord along with me.
Painting… got me into a place of Presence and Worship.
And this… this right here…
“for our “God is an all consuming fire.””

Can you let your mind see Him purifying all your “stuff your consumed by” ?
I know to the worlds eye, you can’t tell we painted today.
But to those that know me and walk with me, when they come in my house, they will see and feel the freshness….
As I looked at this trim today I thought…
Wow. The left was me when I woke up and was praying trying to decide if I was going to get up and move today or let “consuming” win..
And the right side was me in the hands of God, walking out His plan for me today…
I got to chose in this.
He’s so graciously showed me, yes He is the author and finisher of our faith…. But that in the middle is where we get to, GET TO, partner with Him… in purpose….
I’ll take Presence in Pain any day over pain in the pitiful hands of the enemy or my own self pity.
What are you going to chose to do with your life??
God loves you. And He wants you. He wants you to bring it all to Him. No matter what it looks like. He can handle it… He wants it… because it, gets Him to you, if you will just chose…. Him…

Just like the freshness of this paint that this picture represents… when you let God in all those dirty, sad, hurt, confused, hard to understand places, He refreshes you and that’s inside our and all those around you see… they see what Hes done in you and that alone is a walking testimony in Christ.
