Today is heavy.
Today is hard.
Learning to admit this is key to overcome.
If we walk around like we are Wonder Woman or Superman, where is our need for our Savior?
Where is our need for fellowship?
Where is our need for communion?
Where is our need for our circle?
Where is our need for the body of Christ and why it was created?
Where is growth?
Today is heavy.
Today is hard.
As I wake up this morning, I felt the weight of the world.
And by that I mean.
The World.
So many facts facing me as I open my eyes.
So many “things” the world wants me to look at.
Today is heavy.
Today is hard.
In the heavy. I praise.
In the hard. I cry.
What do you do in your heavy?
What do you do in you hard?
Heavy and hard is going to come.
Without fail, it’s going to come.
This morning as I prayed, I let my sweet friend know.
Today is heavy.
When I got to work, my amazing coworkers (aka family) were in my office (our safe place) and with tear filled eyes. I told them.
Today is heavy.
And as I spoke the words, I felt a little of the heavy lift.
Through their encouragement and listening ears and
As I continued to pray, I hear God whisper, my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
I go read it.
Such a familiar verse but still. Had to go read it.
All of you who are heavy, come…
Come.
That’s action.
That’s movement.
That requires of us.
To come to Him
And He will take on that burden.
He will pick us up and carry us. Without fail.
He will use those around us to bring about Hope, Love, Mercy, Grace.
And today in my case.
Easy and Light.
Soft and With Ease.
Truth triumphs everything.
Love covers a multitude of everything.
We are not mean to walk or carry anything this “world” has to offer, alone.
